Civic Exchange and Walk21 partner with The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust to co-organise a day-long Hong Kong Jockey Club Public Forum: Walking Towards a Low-Carbon Hong Kong.

 

Hear renowned speakers including Christine Loh (Under Secretary for the Environment, HKSAR Government), Shing-mu Yau (Under Secretary for Transport and Housing, HKSAR Government), Eric Ma (Under Secretary for Development, HKSAR Government) and more discuss the many aspects of making a city walkable, including civic society engagement, building blocks to better health and clean communities. Understand the international context at the highest level from the Indonesian President’s Special Envoy for Climate Change, Mr Rachmat Witoelar, and Lead Author for the 5th Assessment Report of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, Professor Peter Newman.
