South Asian communities in Hong Kong, and are organizing a Bangladeshi and Sri
Lankan Culture Workshop in this summer.

The Multiculturalism in Action Project (MIA) is continuing the work on the South Asian communities in Hong Kong, and are organizing a Bangladeshi and Sri Lankan Culture Workshop in this summer.

 

In July/August, participants will attend 7 seminars/field visits, held on Saturday afternoon, to learn about aspects of Bangladeshi and Sri Lankan culture and community in Hong Kong. In the fall semester they design community-based projects and do presentations in secondary schools. 

 

The Workshop will be kicked off on July 16 (Sat) in which Prof. Maria Tam will introduce the nature and content of the Workshop, it will be followed by a seminar on the overview of the Sri Lankan community in Hong Kong. You are cordially invited to this and all the sessions!
